Thai Herbal Compress Massage combines the healing effects of traditional Eastern massage techniques with heated herbal compresses containing a blend of 20 aromatic and therapeutic traditional Thai herbs wrapped in balls of cotton muslin and then steamed to release the potent qualities of the herbs, to simultaneously achieve a relaxing and invigorating effect on the mind and body. Lovely stretches are incorporated into this treatment and then hot herbal compresses known as prakhop, are then systematically pressed over the body. The herbs themselves have many medicinal properties.

This is truly a wonderful lifestyle treatment which has been used for hundreds of years in Thailand as a remedy for sore aching muscles, stress relief, exhaustion and other ailments. Anti-inflammatory, astringent, anti-bacterial and other effects are present in many of the herbs.
