Holistic health is a natural alternative to a healthier lifestyle and well-being.
The use of massage has been recorded in China from 3000BC. The ancient Chinese called their technique ‘amma’ and used specific movements on particular points of the body. It was used for the promotion and restoration of health as well as relaxation. In India, massage has always been used as part of traditional Ayurvedic- meaning life.
Holistic Massage is the use of hands by mechanical means to manipulate the soft tissue of the body particularly muscles. It can be used for relaxation, stimulation or rehabilitation of the whole body or part of it.
It promotes circulation and reduces stress. Massage is used to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms or condition the mind, body and spirit.
Had a thai foot massage in February and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. Being a therapist myself i often find it difficult to relax. I totally switched off and loved the style of the massage, which was calming yet invigorating at the same time. It is definately a treatment i would have again and would recommend others to try it. Thank you once again for the wonderful treatment.
Since Suzy Wright has been visiting our residential home for adults with learning disabilities regularly for massage and holistic healing we have seen a dramatic change in some of our residents.
Without exception, all of our residents look forward to Tuesday afternoons when Suzy visits.
In particular we have noticed a marked reduction of anxiety in one of our residents with severe autism and another with mental health problems. Suzy patiently finds ways of giving maximum enjoyment to our residents, giving them a tremendous boost to their feelings of well being and self esteem.
We would not hesitate to recommend Suzy Wright.
Suzy has been coming to see us for the past year for two of our service users.
The Massage & Therapies Suzy users with our service user’s relaxes and calms them throughout the day, along with the different types of massages and Therapies, Suzy plays relaxing music which really helps our service users to become very mellow before and during their Massage. After their Massage, Suzy advises them to drink plenty of water and to relax for a short while afterwards.
Suzy and the service she provides has become part of our service user’s weekly routine and something they both really look forward to.
We hope Suzy will continue to provide her services here for the foreseeable future.
